These beans are supple and fragrant, with about a 30% moisture content. Each package contains 1 ounce of beans, about 5–6 pods.
Grade A beans are best for applications where the seed pulp or “caviar” is used directly in recipes: ice cream, custards, frostings, and sauces. The scraped pods still have plenty of flavor for extract or just put into your coffee pot to add a sublime vanilla flavor to your brew.
These pods were grown in our vanillery and cured using our unique curing process developed for wet, cool Kauai winter weather. After curing, they were aged for a minimum of 3 months.
